wholesale Wineries Retreats
For wineries, tasting rooms, and culinary retreats
A fermented buckwheat honey built for tasting flights, pairing menus, and small-format retail at the cellar door. Slow-fermented in the Jamu tradition of Java with sand ginger, clove, star anise, and Ceylon cinnamon.
Why wineries stock it
Jamu Honey lives on the same shelf as your single-vineyard wines and your olive oil partners — it is a small-batch, single-estate product with a clear sense of place. The Columbia Gorge appears on the front label. The buckwheat is grown and harvested in Lyle, Washington. The fermentation happens in the same town, by hand, in glass.
Three reasons it sells well in tasting-room retail:
- It pairs. The honey reads as bittersweet, resinous, and lightly spiced. It opens a Riesling, finishes a dry rosé, and stands up to a structured Cab Franc. We can send a one-page pairing guide your sommelier can hand out.
- It travels. 8 oz glass, 70-400 thread, square label. Stable at room temperature, no refrigeration required. Fits the same retail footprint as a 250 ml olive oil bottle.
- It cross-sells the wine. Honey is the low-friction add-on at checkout — a $42 jar attached to a $35 bottle of wine raises average ticket without trading down the brand.
Tasting and pairing program
We work with tasting-room teams on three formats:
- Pairing flight kit — six 1 oz tasting cups for staff training, one large jar for the bar, and a printed pairing one-pager. $48 wholesale per kit, one per account.
- Cellar-door retail — minimum one case (6 jars), $126 wholesale. Reorders at $300 minimum
- Private-label gift sets — your label, our honey, 4 oz jars only. 144-jar minimum, 60-day lead time. Inquire for pricing.
